About Me

I'm a writer who stumbled into a journalism degree because I didn't want to pick apart other people's writing for a few years. I wanted to write. I picked up a German degree since I already spoke the language and waited out the recession with a master's in Rhetoric, which really just leads me to lament to everyone about how they really, really need to know who their audience is. [Do you?]

I wrote a book about ghosts when I was about 8. It sold very well to my Mom.

In October 2023, a book of my columns was released. My Mom got the first copy.

I was a yearbook co-editor in high school and wrote for the student newspaper in college as an arts reporter, which meant I got to write movie reviews at the indie theater for free. I then went to work in a library for a long while, and randomly, I also worked in an open-source intelligence lab. I wrote for the Las Cruces Sun-NewsSu Casa Magazine, Las Cruces Magazine, Neighbors Magazine, and the Las Cruces Bulletin.
